The Halal economy is expected to grow to USD9.7 trillion by 2025 in the latest report, against a projection of USD7.1 trillion reported in 2020. This is a reflection of the ways in which the Halal economy over the years has steadily established itself within the system of the global economy, driven primarily by the increased purchasing power in the Muslim demographic.

According to a study, the global Muslim population is expected to rise from 1.9 billion in 2020 to 2.2 billion by 2030 - rising by 26.4 percent.

This year's report estimates that Muslims spent USD2.02 trillion in 2019 across food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, fashion, travel and media sectors, all of which are impacted by Islamic faith-inspired ethical consumption needs. This spending reflects a 3.2% year-on-year growth from 2018. In addition, Islamic finance assets were estimated to have reached USD2.88 trillion in 2019.

In June 2013, he was awarded Professorship By The Asian Institute of Professionals.
He was appointed as a strategic partner with JAKIM under Malaysian International Halal Academy (MIHA) to develop and conduct the Training Program for Malaysia and International Markets. He held important positions at numerous organizations and was instrumental in charting the development of the Halal industry in Malaysia. He is a capable and trusted personality with excellent networking relations, vast knowledge on sales and marketing, Halal industry development, livestock farming and animal husbandry, investment promotion, establishing trade relations and key stakeholders engagements.
